Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using COREXTV (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and — if you stream — the Creator Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

If you use the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use COREXTV.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Platform with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.

You may not use the Platform if you have previously been banned or had an account terminated for violating these Terms.

3. Account Registration

You may register with an email address and password, or by signing in with Google. You must provide accurate information and keep it current.

Usernames must be unique and must not infringe anyone’s rights, impersonate another person, or violate the Community Guidelines.

One person may not maintain accounts for the purpose of evading enforcement, manipulating discovery systems, or abusing platform features such as the Founder badge allocation.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password and any sign-in credentials confidential.

Passwords are stored only as cryptographic hashes. Login is protected by rate limiting and temporary lockout after repeated failed attempts.

Notify us immediately at support@corextv.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for your conduct and your content on the Platform. You agree to comply with these Terms, the Community Guidelines, and all applicable laws.

You may not interfere with the Platform’s operation, probe or bypass security or access controls, scrape the Platform at scale, or misuse its APIs.

6. Platform Usage

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for its intended personal or creator purposes.

You may not resell, frame, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform, or access it using automated means except through documented, rate-respecting interfaces.

7. Prohibited Conduct

The Community Guidelines define prohibited content and behavior — including harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual exploitation, illegal activity, spam, scams, impersonation, doxxing, malicious links, cheating, and platform manipulation — and are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Violations may result in enforcement actions described in the Community Guidelines, up to permanent account termination.

8. Creator Responsibilities

Creators are responsible for everything broadcast on their channel, including content produced by guests and for moderation of their own chat.

Creators must have the rights to everything they stream — including gameplay, music, video, and imagery — and are responsible for their own tax and legal obligations arising from income earned on the Platform.

If you stream on COREXTV, the Creator Agreement applies to you in addition to these Terms.

9. Viewer Responsibilities

Viewers must follow the Community Guidelines in chat, clips, and all interactions. Clipping or re-sharing a creator’s content does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

Viewers must not evade chat timeouts or bans, artificially inflate viewer counts, or harass creators or other viewers.

10. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload, including streams, VODs, clips, chat messages, profile images, and channel branding.

You grant COREXTV a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transcode, record, reproduce, distribute, and publicly display your content as needed to operate, improve, and promote the Platform — for example, delivering your live stream to viewers, generating VOD recordings, enabling viewer-created clips, and showing your channel in discovery surfaces.

You represent that you own or control the rights to your content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

11. Live Streams

Live streaming is available through supported broadcast methods, including OBS/RTMP ingest and in-browser mobile broadcasting. Stream access is authenticated per channel with a private stream key; you must keep your stream key confidential and may regenerate it at any time from your dashboard.

We may monitor live content for compliance and may interrupt or end a stream that violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines.

12. VODs (Past Broadcasts)

Live broadcasts may be automatically recorded and processed into video-on-demand (“VOD”) replays using our video infrastructure providers.

Creators control the visibility of their VODs and may delete them from their dashboard. Deleting a VOD removes the replay from the Platform; residual copies in provider storage are removed as permitted by our infrastructure configuration.

We do not guarantee that every broadcast will be recorded or that recordings will be retained for any specific period.

13. Clips

Viewers and creators may create short clips from broadcasts. Clips are attributed to the channel they were captured from and to the user who created them.

Channel owners may delete clips captured from their broadcasts at any time. Clips remain subject to the content license in Section 10.

14. Chat and Community Interactions

Chat messages are persistent records associated with your account or guest session. Do not share personal, financial, or sensitive information in chat.

Creators and their moderators may delete messages, issue timeouts, and ban users from their channel chat. Platform staff may additionally enforce the Community Guidelines across channels.

15. Subscriptions

Viewers may subscribe to creator channels for a recurring monthly fee (currently $4.99 per month), processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.

You may cancel a subscription at any time using the management link provided with your Stripe receipt, or by contacting us at support@corextv.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current billing period except as described in the Refund Policy.

Subscription revenue is shared with the creator under the Platform’s current creator payment terms.

16. Tips and Payments

Viewers may send one-time tips to creators, currently between $1 and $500 per tip, processed by Stripe. Tips are voluntary and are not purchases of goods or services.

All payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe; COREXTV never receives or stores your full card number.

Creators receive the creator share of tips and subscriptions under the Platform’s current creator payment terms, less payment processing costs where applicable.

17. Refunds

Refund eligibility for subscriptions, tips, and other transactions is described in the Refund Policy at /legal/refunds, which is incorporated into these Terms.

18. Intellectual Property

The Platform — including the COREXTV and CORE X names, logos, visual design, software, and discovery systems — is the property of the Platform operator and its licensors. Except for the license in Section 6, no rights are granted to you.

Feedback you send us may be used without restriction or obligation.

19. Copyright

We respect intellectual property rights and expect all users to do the same. Only stream, upload, or share content you own or have permission to use.

We respond to valid copyright takedown notices under the process described in our Copyright & DMCA Policy at /legal/dmca, and we terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

20. DMCA Process

Copyright owners may submit takedown notices, and affected users may submit counter-notifications, under the procedure described in our Copyright & DMCA Policy (/legal/dmca).

21. Moderation

We provide channel-level moderation tools (message deletion, timeouts, bans, and moderator roles) and platform-level enforcement.

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts at our discretion to protect users, creators, or the Platform, with or without prior notice for severe violations.

22. Account Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or the Creator Agreement, or that create risk or legal exposure for the Platform or other users.

Sections concerning content licenses (for content already distributed), payments, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

23. Platform Availability

The Platform is provided on an “as available” basis and may be interrupted by maintenance, provider outages, or live-video infrastructure limits. We do not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, or that any broadcast or recording will be preserved.

Beta features may change or be withdrawn at any time.

24. Third-Party Services

The Platform relies on third-party providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS IVS for live video and S3 for VOD storage), Stripe (payments), Google (optional sign-in), and Steam (public game metadata). Your use of those services through the Platform may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services, content, or policies.

25. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CONTENT ON THE PLATFORM — INCLUDING STREAMS, CHAT, OR USER PROFILES — IS ACCURATE, SAFE, OR APPROPRIATE. USER CONTENT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE USER WHO CREATED IT.

26. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COREXTV AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

TO THE EXTENT LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US $100) OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

27. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless COREXTV and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your conduct, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of anyone’s rights.

28. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Platform or by notice to your account email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows the current version.

29. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Platform operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The operator’s designated jurisdiction will be published here once formally registered.
